About Martin Wright

An experienced business leader, learning expert and former sales director, Martin has combined his expertise and real-world insights to develop and deliver sales, negotiation and leadership training to people and organisations in 33 countries on six continents.

He is a veteran of both in-house and consultancy roles, and is skilled in multi-national training strategy, course development, project and programme management, and team leadership across a broad variety of sectors including:

banking and financial services, government, agribusiness, cybersecurity, medical devices, technology, oil and gas, retail, manufacturing, construction, recruitment, telecommunications, publishing, professional services and not-for-profit

Martin has expertise in behaviour-based sales and negotiation skills, leadership development, organisational development, change management, employee engagement, IT rollouts, graduate recruitment, vocational skills development, work-based learning, e-learning and talent management.

Having worked with training providers to design and deliver popular certificate courses in sales and leadership, Martin’s approach can be described as both hands-on and practical – using a combination of evidence-based methods and practical examples to ensure people and organisations can reach their peak performance.

He is an advocate of developing leaders as coaches and subject matter experts becoming trainers, having helped many learn to lead by example to achieve personal, team and organisational success.

Martin holds a Master of Science degree in Information Management from Lancaster University (UK) and a post-graduate certificate in management from Melbourne University (Australia).
